NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 08/07/13 -- Clearbrook Global Advisors, a privately held, independent investment management firm, today announced the expansion of their business development and marketing team with the addition of two senior industry professionals to continue to build out the Clearbrook offering for the institutional investment sector.
Michael Mahoney, an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in investment and advisory roles for institutions, pensions, non-for-profit, foundations and endowments, has joined the firm as Managing Director of Business Development. In addition, Thomasin Bentley was appointed Director of Marketing responsible for coordinating Clearbrook's marketing efforts in the institutional space. Ms. Bentley brings over 17 years of experience to Clearbrook in all areas of brand, strategic marketing, business and partnership development for institutional and asset management firms.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mahoney was a Senior Vice President at Pyramis Global Advisors, responsible for Business Development and Client Service for Taft-Hartley clients. Prior to Pyramis, he was Regional Vice President at ULLICO Inc., responsible for Investor Relations and Business Development for J for Jobs and investment products for the east coast. Mr. Mahoney began his career as a Financial Advisor at Kidder Peabody and Co. and is Series 7 and Series 63 licensed.
Before coming to Clearbrook, Ms. Bentley was Director of New Business Development and Media Sales at New York Road Runners, a New York-based non-profit organization, where she was responsible for business development and media programming for corporate partners of the ING NY City Marathon and other events. Formerly, she was Vice President and Director of Institutional Marketing at Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO), where she directed marketing strategy and communications for HIMCO's $100 billion institutional investment management channel. Prior to HIMCO, Ms. Bentley spent eight-years at Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM) with responsibilities for global marketing, client service, and product development for institutional and high net worth clients. She began her career at John Hancock Funds in 1996.
