Zayo Group today announced its sponsorship and participation in the third annual B Strong Ride, a cycling event for all ages and riding abilities that will take place in Boulder County on Saturday, Aug. 10. The B Strong Ride celebrates cancer survivors and benefits local and national cancer organizations, including Boulder Community Hospital Center for Integrative Care and the George Karl Foundation.
More than 50 Zayo employees will participate in this year’s B Strong Ride, with several more volunteering along the cycling courses. The event offers three different courses including a one-mile course for children 10 years old and younger, the 24-mile “Countryside Loop” and the 69-mile “Mountain Loop” for more experienced riders. For non-riders interested in taking part in festivities, food and entertainment will be available at Celestial Seasoning’s Boulder headquarters.
“The B Strong Ride is a great community event and benefits a cause close to our hearts,” said Dan Caruso, President and CEO of Zayo Group. “This is our third year to sponsor the event and have employees take part in the fun, while supporting those affected by cancer. We look forward to the event and hope Boulder County residents will join us.”
“The 3rd Annual B Strong Ride is going to be a great event and we are extremely grateful for Zayo’s tremendous support of the event and the beneficiaries,” said Paul Balaguer, Event Director of the B Strong Ride.
