NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 08/08/13 -- PulsePoint, a data-driven content creation and media technology company, has appointed Eswar Sivaraman, a data analytics expert and former member of the United Airlines Enterprise Optimization group, as PulsePoint Data Science Group Director.
Eswar is charged with harnessing the data contained in PulsePoint's billions of daily ad transactions to create greater transparency around impression-level data, maximizing campaign performance and insights for the company's advertisers.
In this new role, he will help strengthen PulsePoint's data science program across its programmatic platform, audience targeting technology and content publishing division by expanding their capabilities in research, analysis, data visualization, and business consulting.
With over 10 years of experience, Eswar has experience in corporate research and enterprise-wide consulting. His primary expertise is in statistical modeling and optimization, with experience in leveraging visualization for analysis and effective communication.
Prior to joining PulsePoint, Eswar was a member of the Enterprise Optimization group at United Airlines, and has experience in revenue management, operations, planning, customer satisfaction and financial strategy.

Eswar is not the first seasoned data technologist PulsePoint tapped from outside of the digital space. This past May, the company hired Emilia Sherifova, a former Wall Street CIO, as their new CTO. Emilia was instrumental in transforming OTC Markets Group into one of the preeminent electronic marketplaces during a time when the financial markets were transformed from trading desks to electronic trading.
