Ensequence, the leading supplier of advanced television products, today announced the appointment of Gary Perrelli as Senior Vice President, Interactive Sales – Content Providers. In his role, Mr. Perrelli will lead efforts with major programmers to develop compelling interactive TV experiences across various distribution platforms. He will report directly to Chief Operating Officer David Kline.

Prior to joining Ensequence, Mr. Perrelli was Vice President, National Accounts and Affiliate Advertising Sales for the Disney and ESPN Media Networks. In this role he managed the overall relationship and contract negotiations for specific affiliates that drive revenue for The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) as well as developed and implemented the affiliate ad sales strategy, policies and programs that increase the value of TWDC’s Media Networks.
On the National Accounts side, Perrelli created strategies and tactics to increase distribution and revenue across TWDC’s entire programming portfolio. He was responsible for negotiating multi-year affiliate agreements with Cable, Satellite and Telco MVPD’s including network placement, rates, marketing support, advertising guidelines, technical specifications and reporting requirements. Regarding affiliate ad sales, Perrelli oversaw the creation of unique revenue opportunities that were designed to generate incremental ad revenue for TWDC and its affiliates. He developed and maintained relationships with all affiliates, and provided industry-wide leadership within the local ad sales industry. In addition, Perrelli and his team worked to develop new ad opportunities in the advanced advertising space including TV Everywhere, Dynamic Ad Insertion, and Interactive Advertising.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Perrelli served as Director of New Business for ESPN from August 2001 to September 2002, managing the day-to-day relationships with all of ESPN's brand assets and ESPN's league partners. He also spent time as Vice President/Area Director for AT&T Broadband and held a variety of positions at Cox Communications, lastly as Vice President and General Manager of the New England Region. He also held positions at Storer Communications and Bailey, Moore and Glazer.
