"I enjoy working with Green Earth Technologies and putting their oils to the test. I use their oils every day in all my applications and in all my saws; and, if I can win the Hot Saw World Championship using G-OIL, then certainly, homeowners, arborists, forestry services to sawyers alike can feel as comfortable as I do when using G-OIL," said Mike Sullivan. "I love that it's high performing, which is obvious for me, but another G-OIL benefit that sometimes gets overlooked is that G-OIL actually comes out in the wash. Daily usage of my saws typically leads to oil getting on my clothes, and when I put my clothes in the laundry, they come out clean. I just can't say enough good things about G-OIL!"
"We are very proud of Mike's accomplishments and truly appreciate his wide practical experiences in helping us develop high performance products that can compete in the most extreme conditions while still being safer for the environment," said Jeffrey Loch, President & CMO of Green Earth Technologies. "With this help, we were able to achieve and offer a better -- greener product at the same price."
Bar & Chain oil is a TOTAL LOSS application, meaning 100% of it ends up in the environment, contaminating our soil, polluting our air and eventually running off into our ground water. Costing the same and available in the Fall of 2013, G-OIL's new Bar & Chain Oil is 97% bio-based, satisfying the USDA BioPreferred® Program's Certification for having more than 77% bio-content and, is Ultimate Biodegradable, meeting ASTM's highest standards for biodegradability stating that a product must biodegrade at least 60% within 28 days. Third Party analysis also estimates that utilizing such a high bio-content formula dramatically reduces harmful carbon emissions by more than 75% when compared to traditional conventional oils.
Mike Sullivan is the reigning two-time gold medalist competing in ESPN's Great Outdoor Games. He holds 50 World titles including SEVEN (total) Hot Saw World titles and more than 150 overall titles in various Lumberjack series.
