AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 08/16/13 -- The Austin Technology Council (ATC) today announced it is offering its members exclusive hospitality tickets during the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, November 15-17, 2013. Through its partnership with Circuit of the Americas, ATC has developed a special event package that includes access to a luxurious, covered trackside hospitality venue. The venue is ideal for viewing the race, entertaining clients and customers, and networking with partners.
Formula 1 racing is considered one of the most exciting motorsport events in the world with top-drivers and racecars reaching up to 220 mph. The United States Grand Prix is more than a race, it's a three-day event featuring live entertainment from nationally recognized artists at Austin's spectacular outdoor venue.
Trackside hospitality tickets are available for purchase to ATC members for a special price and are valid for the entire three-day event. There is no minimum ticket purchase requirement. Interested members can contact ATC for this exclusive opportunity.
ATC sits on the Formula 1 host committee and serves as a liaison between Circuit of the Americas and the broader Austin business and technology community.
"The Circuit of the Americas has done a great job making the United States Grand Prix one of the most anticipated annual events in Austin," said Julie Huls, ATC president. "We are thrilled to partner with a global organization, and offer a unique package where our members will utilize to not only enjoy the festivities, but to network with their peers in the business community and to show the best of Austin to clients and customers."
The Circuit of The Americas brought Formula 1 back to the United States last November for the first time since 2007. Last year's race attracted 117,429 fans on race day and 265,499 over the three-day event.
"Formula 1 racing is the most technologically-advanced sport in the world," said Geoff Moore, chief marketing & revenue officer, Circuit of The Americas. "That's why it is a natural fit that the only F1 race in the United States takes place in Austin -- a city with a great passion for adventure and cutting-edge technology."
