The North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), the primary voice of the technology industry in North Carolina, announces its 1st Annual Executive Online Auction, which will run from Friday, August 16, through Friday, August 30 at noon. NCTA is piloting this fundraising effort to support its statewide programming, as well as a scholarship fund that supports young women pursuing technology-related college degrees.
Eight North Carolina-based IT leaders with combined $1 Billion-plus in projected IT spend this upcoming year will participate: Jo Abernathy, CIO – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina; Craig Richardville, SVP & CIO – Carolinas HealthCare System; Billy Willis, CTO – Duke Medicine; Deb Walsh, SVP, NC IT Site Leader – Fidelity Investments; Dede Ramoneda, CIO – First Citizens Bank; Lee Congdon, CIO – Red Hat; Martin Schneider, Global CIO – VF Corporation; and Jim Spicer, CIO of Corporate Technology & Data – Wells Fargo. Bidders can secure one-on-one lunch meeting through an online auction process.
