Comcast today announced the grand opening of its new XFINITY™ Service Center near the Galleria. At 6,500 square feet, the new store is the company’s largest in the country and designed entirely around the needs of customers. It provides an opportunity to explore, learn about and interact directly with the latest XFINITY™ products and services.

The new XFINITY™ Service Center at 2616 South Voss Rd. is conveniently located and features 55” flat screen TVs and a comfortable seating area. Customers also can try out some of Comcast’s converged services and popular apps on iPads, like the XFINITY TV app. Kiosks around the center also provide customers with the opportunity to experience XFINITY TV and the company’s new platform X1, test drive XFINITY Internet’s speeds, connect with XFINITY Voice service, and try out next generation XFINITY Home.
In addition, customers receive personalized service from trained and knowledgeable Comcast Service Consultants and more time-saving offerings, including a self-service kiosk for quick bill pay and a queue system that allows customers the opportunity to explore and be entertained instead of waiting in line for service.

The XFINITY™ Customer Service Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and located at 2616 South Voss Rd. The store replaces the former Comcast Service Center at 5301B Bissonnet, Bellaire, TX.
The new store near the Galleria is the fourth new XFINITY™ Service Center to open in Houston and among 12 located throughout the Greater Houston area.
At the recent grand opening event for the new store Comcast announced a partnership with Easter Seals Greater Houston and presented a $25,000 Comcast Assistive Technology Grant to help expand the Easter Seals BridgingApps Program in Houston. The program is aimed to help people with disabilities by providing assessment, training and support designed to address their long-term technology needs.
