The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the leading association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech communications networks, today announced it will present 10 highly interactive pre-conference workshops at TIA 2013: The Future of the Network. The conference will bring top executives, thought leaders, technologists and policymakers to Washington, D.C. on October 7-10 to address the most critical issues facing the information and communications technology (ICT) industry.
The workshops, which will take place on the afternoon of October 7 and the morning of October 8, will offer in-depth discussion of the most timely and controversial ICT topics – including cybersecurity, software-defined networking, M2M, video streaming, cloud and data center optimization, FirstNet/public safety, supply chain management, product quality, the role of media on the network, Carrier Ethernet 2.0 and data center optimization. The topics will be explored through interactive presentations and roundtables, with heavy participation from attendees, and will feature executives from AT&T, Comcast, Dell, Facebook, Intel, Verizon, and more.
TIA 2013 will address a turbulent time in an industry facing unprecedented demand and disruption.
