WAYNE, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/28/06 -- In the next step of their growth plan, Vision Research Inc. (VRI) today announced they have appointed Al de Marcken to lead the company's world-wide service and support programs.

Most recently Mr. de Marcken was Vision Research's North American Sales Manager. He will retain that responsibility while taking on the added role of growing VRI's service and support business and elevating customer experience to a world-class level.

Mr. de Marcken joined Vision Research as National Sales Manager in 2001, chartered with the role of creating a direct North American sales organization for the company. Prior to joining VRI, he was employed by Olympus Industrial and held a variety of roles in sales and sales management.
