EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation today announced that it has signed a 10-year business process outsourcing (BPO) and information technology (IT) outsourcing agreement with a leading U.S.-based life insurer. The contract is one of the largest BPO agreements signed in the North American life insurance market.
CSC's services will help the insurer quickly and efficiently consolidate and integrate the data, staff and processes it has gained through acquisitions. Under the agreement, CSC will provide full-service transition, administration and technical support for almost one million life insurance policies. This includes end-to-end policy administration according to the insurer's guidelines, including customer, call center, financial administration and claims services. CSC also will provide applications management and infrastructure services, which include data center operations.
