Nintex, a world leader in workflow software, today announced the availability of Nintex Workflow for Microsoft Office 365. Now users can scale and build advanced workflows on a powerful cloud platform. Nintex Workflow for Office 365 is available immediately in the SharePoint Store and Nintex Forms for Office 365 will be available in the coming weeks.
These versions of Nintex Workflow and Nintex Forms are developed specifically for the Office 365 platform and cater to its unique capabilities. Nintex’s software extends Microsoft SharePoint Online, enabling users to collaborate on processes in the cloud or in a hybrid environment. Users can get started in seconds to automate approval routing, employee onboarding, forms processing and expense handling, all in the cloud.
Customers have already started ordering the new software. Add Value Technologies, a Brazilian company, top Citrix partner and infrastructure application delivery service to Latin America, is an early adopter of Nintex Workflow for Office 365. Previously, Add Value Technologies was managing different lists for various departmental processes and unable to integrate workflow activities for a dynamic and unified view of data across departments. This created additional work for managers.
“We were looking for a quick and easy solution to eliminate departmental silos and automate processes like administrative tasks, marketing communications, invoicing, vendor contracts and customer relationship management,” said Leandro Aparicio, owner at Add Value Technologies. “With the support of Entercomms, a Nintex partner, we were able to realize the benefits of adopting Nintex Workflow for Office 365. We are now looking forward to taking advantage of the low infrastructure cost of Office 365 along with complementary capabilities of Nintex to streamline our everyday processes.”
“This is just the beginning for Nintex and Office 365,” said Mike Fitzmaurice, vice president of product technology at Nintex. “We will continue to innovate on this new platform and help customers make the most of their investment, unlocking new capabilities and delivering workflow to virtually anyone, anytime, anywhere. Nintex is wherever our customers are doing work.”
Nintex Workflow for Office 365 enables users, developers and IT professionals to automate processes quickly and easily, without sacrificing power or manageability. Nintex Forms for Office 365 is an easy-yet-powerful way to build and manage forms that are web-aware, SharePoint-aware, mobile-aware, and can kick-start workflows. Both products allow business applications to be built in a browser, using the familiar drag-and-drop experience. Customers are now able to create a whole new range of business solutions and connect cloud services including Yammer, Twitter, SkyDrive, Bing, and a host of virtual machines.
“We’re pleased to see one of our leading SharePoint partners, Nintex, build dedicated solutions for the Office 365 platform and publish them to the Office and SharePoint Store,” said Dene Cleaver, senior product manager of the Office and SharePoint Store, Microsoft Corp. “Nintex’s investment really demonstrates their commitment to Office 365 and the cloud app model whilst providing a great business app for SharePoint customers worldwide.”
