Trevor Vale, Global Head of Platform Sales and Business Development for Xignite, will discuss the relationship of market data technology in managed services.
The September roundtable “Managed Services – Coming of Age” will focus on the managed services available to support large financial organizations driving need for market data cost reduction. Vale will be discussing how Xignite’s cloud-based Enterprise Data Distribution solution (EDD) lets financial institutions reduce market data spend and drive innovation by making the data available globally through a dedicated, branded market data cloud. Executives from Xignite clients NYSE Technologies and S&P Capital IQ, and representatives from Thomson Reuters, and Interactive Data Corp. will join him on the panel.
Vale oversees global product and sales initiatives for Xignite’s Enterprise Data Distribution platform, targeted at large global financial institutions and Market Data Distribution platform, targeted at exchanges and data vendors. Prior to joining Xignite, he ran sales and marketing for Breakingviews, a global provider of financial commentary acquired by Thomson Reuters. Previously he held sales leadership roles at Reuters and then Thomson Reuters. Vale graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
