Americas' SAP Users’ Group (ASUG) Fall Focus 2013 keynotes will address leveraging internal and external stakeholder insights and real-time supply chain management to increase ROI and transform operations and the customer experience. The annual gathering of ASUG members in the SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Services & Support communities will be held Sept. 25-27 in Philadelphia. Admission is free for ASUG members.
"We're excited to be in Philadelphia this year and to share such high-quality speakers and programming with all who will attend ASUG Fall Focus 2013," said Suzanne Passante, Vice President of Business Integration at Day & Zimmermann, Inc., and ASUG volunteer for the Services & Support Community. "The volume and quality of the submissions we received made it challenging for us to make the final selections. This is sure to be a great conference and opportunity for the featured communities to engage in focused educational opportunities on par with Annual Conference. We are looking forward to connecting in a smaller setting with ASUG members who share common professional interests and challenges."
According to keynote speaker Harold Hambrose, CEO and Founder of business consulting firm Electronic Ink, business processes and technology drove innovation in the past, but innovation today requires understanding the behavioral truths about employees, customers and prospects that define any company. In his Fall Focus address, “The Next Great Innovative Leap: Design for ROI” (Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8:15 a.m. ET), Hambrose will discuss how understanding why these stakeholders do what they do provides a source of insight and innovation, and how design can transform operations, the systems that support operations and the customer experience.
At 8:15 a.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 27, Ganesh Wadawadigi, Ph.D., Vice President of Supply Chain Management at SAP Labs, will present "Re-thinking Your Supply Chain: Changing the Game with Real-Time Capabilities."
Real-time, demand-driven supply chain management, Dr. Wadawadigi says, gives businesses an unprecedented opportunity to drive measurable, consistent results and serve numerous stakeholders in today's global, high-stakes and volatile environment. He will provide a roadmap to gain competitive advantage and improve service, lower costs, increase profitability and swiftly respond to changing business dynamics through real-time responsiveness, collaboration, distribution, operations and decision making.
The three-day conference features 100 sessions. SAP experts will share insights and case histories, address challenges and opportunities, and present new innovations tailored to the needs of SAP professionals. The many topics to be addressed include SAP HANA, mobility, successful implementation with user participation, going beyond the statistics of demand management, and optimizing performance on the shop floor.
