LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - September 18, 2013) - JukinVideo is excited to announce its partnership with Social Media Week Los Angeles 2013. As a premier Hub Sponsor, JukinVideo will be kicking off the conference by co-hosting with Tubefilter and What's Trending the Social 25 Opening Party on Sept. 23, from 7-11 p.m. in Santa Monica, Calif. The exclusive VIP party honors the 25 most outstanding individuals, companies and brands in social media today; this year's honorees include Will.I.Am., Kristen Bell, Stan Lee, Sarah Silverman and Michael Cera.
Following the kick-off party, JukinVideo will maintain a large presence throughout Social Media Week LA. A featured keynote speaker, JukinVideo Co-founder and President Jonathan Skogmo will speak on Sept. 24, from 12:30-1 p.m. at the ROC Center in Santa Monica. Skogmo will share his insights and explore opportunities for content creators and brands to take part in and maximize their success with viral videos. Immediately following, Larry King will take the stage to interview the "king" of virality, George Takei.
JukinVideo Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer Josh Entman will appear as a part of the panel titled Growing on Vine: Opportunities For Brands and Creators on The Hottest New Entertainment Platform on Sept. 26, from 5-7 p.m. at the ROC. Entman will speak about the best ways to leverage the success of Vine into other entertainment mediums and will also be taking a look at a few of Vine's successful branded campaigns. Other panelists include James, Tyler, and Will McFadden (Founders, Collab) and Jefferson Graham (Tech Columnist, USA Today).
The conference will close with "an epic fiesta" open to the public (to register: http://socialmediaweek.org/losangeles/) at Bergamot Station on Sept. 27 from 7-11 p.m. Attendees will enjoy live performances, drinks, music, food and be able to dunk their favorite digital media stars in JukinVideo's first ever Dunk Tank Station. Featuring several of the Ford Fiesta Movement Agents, those with good aim can dunk the Agents and other digital stars to be announced. All of the action will be streamed live as well as promoted in real time throughout social media on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Vine.
