OAKLAND, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/20/13 -- Bell Investment Advisors, www.bellinvest.com, a Bay Area registered investment advisory firm, today announced they will be conducting a free webinar, Introduction to Long Term Care, on September 25, 2013, 2-2:30 PM PDT. The event is part of an ongoing series of webinars and events that reflect the firm's dedication to providing free educational opportunities to its greater community.
The webinar will focus on the basics of long term care (LTC), the type of service that helps with varying forms of assistance needed by those who can no longer perform everyday tasks by themselves. For many, the need for LTC is far in the future; however, the National Medicare Handbook claims that 70% of people will require some type of long term care services.
This webinar offers information and strategies surrounding the choices faced when considering long term care. It will introduce you to the basics: how care is provided, cost of care, how to pay for care, under what circumstances LTC insurance might be beneficial, and how long term care fits (or not) within your overall financial and retirement plan.
Registration for the event is currently open at: http://www.bellinvest.com/news-events/events/introduction-long-term-care.
Jim Bell, CFP®, President and Founder of Bell Investment Advisors, will host this September 25 webinar, and Larry Davidman, Principal of TermWorksLTC.Com, will be the guest speaker. There will be an opportunity for participants to have their questions answered at the end of the presentation. "Insurance concerns are always challenging", says Mr. Bell. "LTC is especially so. Come and learn the basics."
