LAFAYETTE, IN -- (Marketwired) -- 09/23/13 -- Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC) recognized top suppliers during its annual supplier conference on Sept. 19, 2013. Twenty suppliers received awards for exceptional performance to help the organization meet customer needs.

More than 375 attendees representing 150 supplier organizations were present for the conference held at the company's Ehrlich Innovation Center. Keynote speakers included Craig Bouchard, chairman and chief executive officer of Signature Group Holdings, Inc., and Tim Quinlan, an economist for Wells Fargo. They each shared insights on specific trends affecting the industry.

Wabash National presented its most esteemed award, the 2013 Supply Chain Leadership and Performance Pinnacle Supplier Award, to Truck-Lite Company LLC, a premier supplier of visibility products for trucks and trailers. Truck-Lite was selected based on its excellent service and performance in reducing costs and providing proactive solutions for Wabash National customers.
Three Distinguished Supplier Awards were presented to suppliers for support of key initiatives, customer value and relationship. Recipients of distinguished awards included Whiting Overhead Door Corporation, Bridgestone Corporation and 3D Machine, Inc.
Sixteen Platinum Awards were given for excellence in supply chain performance delivery, quality, cost and innovation.
