Midpoint.com, the peer to peer Foreign Exchange Service and International Payments Platform, has added two more functional currencies – Canadian Dollars and Swiss Francs - to its money-saving currency exchange service.
Midpoint launched in June 2013 offering businesses and individuals the opportunity to save money when exchanging GBP, US Dollars and Euros. The addition of Canadian Dollars and Swiss Francs has been accelerated following demand from customers, in particular people in the financial services sector, wanting to further benefit from Midpoint’s fast and secure payment solution.
Brad Lemkus, Midpoint’s Director of Operations comments: “We are delighted to expand our offering with these two key currencies. Adding Canadian Dollars and Swiss Francs significantly strengthens our position as an ambitious and rapidly growing entrant in the online currency exchange arena.
By leveraging technology advances and networking, we are delivering real financial benefits to our customers. Using Midpoint.com, a business exchanging C$5,000 into USD each week could typically experience savings of more than 2%. In real terms an organisation exchanging C$50,000 per week could save around C$1,000 per transaction, or C$52,000 per year.”
Midpoint's US patented multi-currency, multi-party netting business method was the first to directly and indirectly 'match' offsetting foreign exchange requirements for individuals and companies and thereby eliminate the 'spread' or 'margin' component from all transactions. With Midpoint, at the time of the match both parties receive the same exchange rate - the ‘mid point’ of the real time Interbank buy and sell rate, ensuring Midpoint can always offer the best available rate.
The full list of payout and acceptance countries for these five currencies is in the “How It Works” section on Midpoint.com. New users can register free now at www.midpoint.com and enjoy the access, flexibility and cost savings of a non pre-funded matching currency exchange account.
Midpoint is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
