YIWU, China, Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Organized by the Bureau of Trade & Development Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce and the UN Council for the Promotion of Procurement of China, assisted by China Chain Store Franchise Association and other institutions, and undertaken by Yiwu Municipal People's Government, the 2nd Yiwu International Sourcing Fair will take place October 21 to 23 at Yiwu International Exhibition Center.
According to organizers, this Sourcing Fair invites a wide range of buyers from home and abroad. Senior managers of major retailers, head of the purchasing departments of Affiliated Central Enterprises of SASAC, senior managers of nationally recognized foreign trade corporations, overseas buyers, business associations and representatives of Zhejiang merchants and China Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Association, economists and reporters will attend.
Taking into consideration attendees' needs, the fair is divided into three sections: conference forums, procurement docking and business visits. Participants have the option of joining in meetings of various themes according to their needs.
Organizers have set up promotion meetings for investment in Yiwu at the fair, whereupon a comprehensive introduction will be made about market development and exhibition industry in Yiwu, facilitation services of trade procurement, and investment policy and climate.
In procurement, a purchasing fair will be set up especially for buyers. Associated with the concurrent 19th Yiwu Fair, it will feature customer-oriented negotiation areas and VIP membership service for premium clients. At the same time, private sourcing events, including industry procurement, regional procurement and purchasing for large companies, will be set up.
The procurement briefing will focus on purchasing policy and procedures, as well as trade climate, aimed at establishing long-term marketing channels and project cooperation. In the business investigation section, the organizer will invite buyers worldwide to visit the International Trade Market.
As China's sourcing fair on the largest scale, the fair will establish trade platforms for seamless docking between buyers and sellers, building an upscale, effective, well-known and professional purchasing negotiation platform.
"Through the Sourcing Fair, we strive to practice the new way of trade as market purchasing with a view to further enhancing the market quality and the economic effectiveness of the Yiwu Fair, thus promoting the transformation and upgrading of business services," said the organizer's director.
