MARKHAM, ONTARIO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 10/06/06 -- Enghouse Systems Limited (TSX: ESL) announced that, at the request of the Ontario Securities Commission, it has re-filed its MD&A and its certificates of the CEO and Vice President Finance for the year ended October 31, 2005.

The re-filing of the MD&A was necessary due to the inadvertent omission of information concerning conclusions about the effectiveness of disclosure controls and procedures. Although management had concluded that its internal accounting controls and procedures were appropriate they did not explicitly state in its MD&A that its disclosure controls were also effective. No other changes were made.

Such disclosure is now included in the re-filed MD&A which can be accessed at www.sedar.com.
