Rittman Mead specialize in data and analytics, delivering world class solutions based on Oracle Technology
Rittman Mead, a global strategic data and analytics company offering Training, Consultancy and Global Services based on Oracle solutions announces the appointment of Stewart Bryson as Chief Innovation Officer (CINO)
Stewart Bryson joined Rittman Mead 7 years ago, and has been the Managing Director for Rittman Mead US, and was awarded the Oracle ACE for his work on BI.
' The BI landscape is changing rapidly, and these changes are causing a lot of internal reflection at Rittman Mead about the approaches we take to helping our customers deliver intelligence' Bryson said
'We see paradigm shifts in the general technology market that reverberate through to BI... things like Big Data and cloud computing that drastically change delivery approaches. I'm excited that in my new role as Chief Innovation Officer, I will be the main conduit through which these approaches are vetted and assimilated... there's no place I would rather be.'
Stewart has an MA in Philosophy from the University of Mississippi, and is best known for his popular podcasts with fellow BI enthusiast Kevin McGinley. Bryson has been working with Oracle technologies for well over a decade, first as a DBA, then adding in expert skills in ODI and OBIEE before joining Rittman Mead in 2008.
Innovation is a key focus at Rittman Mead and founders Jon Mead, CEO, and Mark Rittman CTO have been working on developing this role.
'It's a great indication of how Rittman Mead has grown as a company, innovation is critical to enable us to deliver relevant and intelligent insight to our customers, and the appointment of a CINO role was a necessity,' said Jon Mead, CEO.
'Stewart's enthusiasm together with his technical expertise made him the ideal candidate for the role of CINO. His roll will be to pull together all the technology and solutions related IP and processes we have, both internally and externally, and build out the Rittman Mead Delivery Framework and the Rittman Mead Way from them,' added Mark Rittman CTO.
