In his session at the 13th International Cloud Expo®, Brian Kracik, Director, Product Marketing SDP and Cloud Solutions at Oracle, shared use cases, trends, and the impact of the shift from physical to digital goods and how cloud billing is at the heart of a successful evolution.
As director of product marketing service delivery platforms and cloud solutions for Oracle, Brian Kracik is responsible for establishing and executing industry and technology strategy. He serves as the lead for strategic service delivery platform initiatives and public cloud solutions. With more than 21 years of telecommunications experience, He is well-versed in the business and network aspects of global operators and he has driven adoption of service delivery platforms, next-generation network technologies, public cloud deployments, and order management systems.
Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Kracik held various lead positions focused on business development and marketing for BEA Systems and Sun Microsystems. He also held director roles with wireless and wireline operators including McLeod USA, Sprint Cellular, 360 Communications and Alltel managing teams of engineers in the financial planning, design, build-out and optimization of the operators' markets.
Mr. Kracik holds an MBA from DePaul University, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Illinois and a Bachelor of General Studies from Armstrong State College.
