MADISON, WI -- (Marketwired) -- 10/07/13 -- Widen Enterprises, the leader in cloud-based digital asset management (DAM) solutions, will host the 2013 User Summit at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison from October 14 to 16. Themed Inspiring Harmony, the annual event will focus on how organizations can supercharge the creation, management and distribution of digital assets by harmonizing technology, creative, marketing and sales with the Widen Media Collective.
"After the enormous success of our inaugural User Summit last year, we cannot wait to welcome Widen customers for three days of DAM, beer, cheese and magic," said Matthew Gonnering, CEO of Widen Enterprises. "We're confident that our guests will head home with valuable new ideas, exciting new connections and an unforgettable taste of Madison."
Inspiring Harmony 2013 will feature keynote presentations by two business leaders at the forefront of technology and marketing: Scott Brinker, chief technology officer of Ion Interactive and editor of the blog www.chiefmartec.com, and Bill Preller, senior director of specialty business at Case IH.
Small group breakout sessions will cover best practices and use cases for a wide variety of DAM topics ranging from integration, metadata and user adoption to managing multiple brands, agency workflows and managing the asset lifecycle. Speakers at these sessions will include veteran Widen Media Collective users representing 19 organizations:
BEAM Interactive, Brady, Zeiss, CDesign, Childs Company, Cornell University, Coty, Covidien, Cree, CUNA, Institute of International Education, Intergraph, Mercury Marine, Messer Construction, New Era Cap, Promega, Red Gold, Sub-Zero and Yankee Candle.
"This is a unique opportunity to pool insights and see how peers are using DAM across a diverse group of organizations," said Deanna Ballew, manager of development and infrastructure at Widen Enterprises. "The User Summit is also an opportunity to influence the future of the Widen Media Collective. Throughout the conference, we'll be looking to our guests to learn how our team can better meet present and future needs."
Registered attendees include marketing, creative, knowledge management and IT professionals from five countries and more than 30 industries. Like the previous year, the Widen User Summit will include a healthy dose of entertainment. Guests will be able to take a fall color cruise on Lake Monona, indulge at a fine Wisconsin cheese tasting or jam at a dueling pianos bar, among other fun activities.
