Accenture (NYSE:ACN) received a high vendor assessment for its Accenture CAS software solution in Gartner Inc.’s recently published “Vendor Panorama for Retail Execution in Consumer Goods.”1 Accenture received high assessments in numerous “Company” categories, including Geographic Strategy, Vertical/Industry Strategy and Solution Completeness. Accenture also scored the highest assessment in “Product” criteria, including in Delivery Flexibility, User Experience, Analytical Capabilities and Configurability.
Gartner assessed 19 service providers for the Vendor Panorama, which profiles the marketplace and leading vendors to help consumer goods companies use technology to better manage in-store execution. Gartner notes that, “Technologies related to executing in the retail environment have come sharply into focus, as consumer goods manufacturers seek to improve activities and promotions at the store level.” A copy of the full report is available here.
