Health Mart®, a leading franchise of more than 3,100 independently owned pharmacies across all 50 states, today announced the recent launch of the Your Pharmacy OnlineSM mobile application at the 115th Annual Convention and Trade Exposition of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), held October 12–16, 2013.
The mobile app is the newest component of McKesson’s Your Pharmacy Online consumer-facing pharmacy website and gives patients more on-the-go prescription management options. The Your Pharmacy Online mobile app capabilities include:
- Refill Reminders — Alert patient that it is time to refill their prescription and allows the patient to manage the frequency of their reminders on-screen.
- RxReady Notifications — Alert patient when the prescription is ready to be picked up.
- Request a Refill — Patient can enter a prescription into the mobile app, prompting the refill request to be sent to the pharmacy either by fax or directly into the pharmacy-management system.
- In-Store Promotions — Patient can view in-store promotions and events.
- Point-to-Point Directions — Patient can receive point-to-point directions to the pharmacy.
Demonstrations of the new mobile app are available at NCPA Booth #1001.

The Your Pharmacy Online app is available in the Apple App Store (for iPhones) or the Google Play Store (for Android phones). The app has been downloaded more than 2,000 times in the first month alone and has received strong reviews. “The reception to the Your Pharmacy Online mobile app among Health Mart customers has already been tremendous, and we continue to see new user adoption each day,” said Farah.
