Victrio Named by Gartner as "Cool Vendor in Security: Identity and Access Management, 2013"

Victrio, Inc., an emerging leader in voice biometrics for fraud detection and authentication, announced today that it has been named a "Cool Vendor in Security: Identity and Access Report 2013"* by Gartner, Inc., the leading industry analyst firm.

Each year, Gartner identifies Cool Vendors in key technology areas and publishes research reports highlighting their innovative products and services. Vendor selections are regarded as innovative, impactful, and intriguing.

For this report, Gartner selected companies whose “approaches point to new directions” for CISO’s and other security decision makers to consider in identity and access management technologies. Victrio was analyzed for their voice biometric authentication and fraud detection solutions.

“Call centers have become a security hole and source of customer frustration. New passive voice biometrics has arrived to both increase fraud detection and speed up customer authentication,” said Mark Lazar, CEO of Victrio, Inc. “Many technology companies are focused on building voice biometric solutions, and we consider Gartner’s recognition of Victrio a key advancement in the field.”
