The Ice Cream Association
The Russian Ice Cream Association has existed since April 2000 and represents the interests of more than 200 organisations and about 150 companies. The most important tasks of the association are, first and foremost, to represent the interests of the ice cream industry and to take an influence on the legislative activities of the Russian government. Here, for instance, the value added tax for ice cream could be reduced from 20 to 10%. In addition, the association organizes the supra-regional cooperation in Russia with the regions and the coordination with different Federal authorities.
