To celebrate Halloween and El Dia de los Muertos (All Souls' Day), UrbanChillers(R), a PYXIX(TM) company, is holding an audio thriller contest to find the scariest audio tale. The winner earns US$1,000, and the winning entry will be featured on http://www.urbanchillers.com/.

Contestants can submit their story -- up to 50 minutes long -- as an MP3 or M4V iPOD(R) file directly on http://www.urbanchillers.com/. The deadline is midnight (your local time), November 5, 2006. Contest rules can be found on http://www.urbanchillers.com/.

The contest is open to amateurs and professionals. Contestants must be over the age of 13, and must have parental consent if under 18 (or under 19 in Alabama or Nebraska).

The winner is determined by a cumulative score of production values, scariness, and originality. Multiple entries are allowed.

The contestant owns the rights to the story and the performance of the story.
