The contest is open to amateurs and professionals. Contestants must be over the age of 13, and must have parental consent if under 18 (or under 19 in Alabama or Nebraska).
The winner is determined by a cumulative score of production values, scariness, and originality. Multiple entries are allowed.
The contestant owns the rights to the story and the performance of the story.
