Improving the Efficiency of SOA-Based Applications
jhv1blz5 wrote: The article validated SOA as an IT architecture paradigm that can be leveraged in many ways. Taking data storage, scalability and application performance to a nifty level using SOA Application Grid infrastructure will no doubt enhance data and application performance on Oracle architecture platforms, it also has the promise of a cost effective and efficient IT delivery model. The very benefits of SOA.

DOVER, N.J., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Casio, Inc has announced the launch of their Super Slim Sweepstakes, a kick-off contest for their new Super Slim line of projectors. A brand new XJ-S35 Super Slim Projector, Casio Exilim EX-S770 Digital Camera and a TUMI Briefcase are all part of the grand prize package. The sweepstakes will run from October 11th to November 30th.

This sweepstakes provides a chance at a prize package that is ideal for any frequent business traveler. The XJ-S35 is an ultra-light, slim, portable projector with a USB hub that will change ones presentation style dramatically. Instead of having to carry a laptop or being concerned if the device at their destination will be compatible, the presentation can be saved directly to a USB memory device and projected from the XJ-S35.

The XJ-S35 is not the only stylish and portable prize up for grabs. The Exilim EX-S770 Digital Camera has a data storage feature that enables you to easily convert business documents, Powerpoint presentations and much, much more into JPEGs which get stored to the camera and connects to the projector directly. All of this fits comfortably inside the fashionable TUMI Briefcase which features a cushioned pillow-tech section to protect the Super Slim Projector, a removable mesh pouch, two phone pockets, PDA pocket, ID tag on a retractable cord and ticket pocket. The briefcase also expands if additional storage is needed.

"We are really excited to run this sweepstakes in conjunction with the launch of our new Super Slim projector line," said Bob Garbutt, General Manager of Casio's Business Projector Division. " Business travelers are constantly looking for ways to alleviate extra baggage, making our projectors a perfect travel companion and our contest reinforces this concept by providing them a chance to win the ultimate travel package."

Business people who travel frequently for their livelihoods are constantly looking to streamline what they pack. With this in mind, Casio created the revolutionary Super Slim projector line that provides portability while at the same time delivering large, bright images for business presentations. To achieve the unit's slim design and still provide a good cooling system, Casio developed a small lens and light source and added quiet cooling technology - a first for a portable projector.

The Super Slim Projector's wide-angle 2X zoom lens gives it the best range of any data projector on the market and images can be projected as close as 2.7'. It also delivers remarkable brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens, so users can make presentations without dimming the lights. This groundbreaking new mobile projector is great for small, everyday meetings, major presentations and everything in between!
