NEW YORK, Oct. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Linda Imonti, Advisory partner at audit, tax and advisory firm KPMG LLP, has been named one of Consulting magazine's top Women Leaders in Consulting for 2013. Imonti was specifically recognized for her leadership roles.
Linda has more than 25 years experience in consulting, helping companies develop innovative plans and turn business strategies into success. In her two leadership roles, as the firm's National Business Intelligence Leader and as the Chicago/West Region Advisory Leader, Linda oversees advisory professionals and some of the firm's most complex business intelligence projects.
"Linda is a great example of the talent we have on the Advisory leadership team at KPMG and this award is well-deserved," said Lynne Doughtie, Vice-Chair for Advisory. "Linda's commitment to her teams, her clients, her mentees, and her work outside the firm represents the qualities we encourage and value at KPMG, and we are happy she has been recognized for her success."
Since joining KPMG in 2006, Linda's business and technology experience has helped grow KPMG's Business Intelligence services more than 300 percent in four years. Outside of her business roles, she sits on the KPMG Women's Advisory Board, is a major participant of the firm's robust mentoring program and is a KPMG Chicago Pride Partner Champion for the firm's LGBT Diversity Network.
"I really enjoy the teams and people I work with, so being recognized for leadership is humbling," said Imonti. "Leading people, watching them strive to grow, learn, and then seeing them succeed, is one of my greatest rewards."
A Chicago resident, Linda is also passionate about her role on the board of the Lurie Children's Hospital, which she has held for the last five years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from San Francisco State University.
