CACI Completes $820M Six3 Systems Acquisition

CACI Buys Cyberspace, C4ISR and intelligence solutions company

CACI International Inc. has completed an $820M acquisition of a McLean, Va.-based company focused on providing specialized cyberspace, C4ISR and intelligence offerings.

Six3 Systems Inc. was acquired from private equity firm GTCR and is expected to provide CACI with expanded company market opportunities worth $15 billion, the company announced Nov. 15.

Jack London, CACI chairman of the board, said the acquisition is the largest in the company's 51-year history.

"CACI brings the Six3 team larger resources and more opportunities to expand their customer base, and our combined company is positioned to efficiently develop high-end, next-generation solutions for national security needs. Our shared character and cultural commitment to integrity and innovation also assures our customers of ethical and high-quality support for their most critical missions," he added.

Six3 Systems has about 1,600 employees and calendar year 2013 revenue is expected to be $470 million.
