Sailthru, the leading provider of personalized marketing and communications technology powered by Sailthru Smart DataTM, today saw four of its leading commerce brands rank on Internet Retailer’s Hot 100 list for 2013. The Hot 100 is a list of e-retailers known for their groundbreaking approaches to a myriad of business initiatives. This year, four of the Hot 100 e-retailers work with Sailthru to optimize revenue through real-time personalized marketing.
“Strategic personalization is a challenge facing every marketer today and it’s exciting to see our customers innovative approaches recognized. With Sailthru these companies are increasing the relevancy of their conversations with consumer and reaping the benefits,” said Neil Capel, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Sailthru. “E-retailers are growing relationships with their customers each day and must offer individual experiences for each across every channel – no small task. By offering a more personal customer experience in partnership with Sailthru, our customers are increasing conversion rates and transforming one time buyers into brand ambassadors.”
Being named in Internet Retailer’s Hot 100 list is no easy feat. There is a team of 16 editors and research analysts that look at thousands of sites each year, evaluating and taking notes on the site search, photos, product videos, social media activity, mobile commerce and more. Each team member then nominates 20 noteworthy e-commerce sites and they compile that list with other recommendations from industry experts. The team then gets together to pitch their recommendations, debate amongst one another and review sites to further refine the list until they vote and agree on the year’s Hot 100.
Sailthru customers included in this year’s Hot 100 include Fab.com, Jack Threads, Bourbon & Boots and Lolly Wolly Doodle.
“It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to work with these e-retailers and we’re proud to be involved in both the strategy and execution that helped to earn them this recognition from Internet Retailer,” said Alex Hesterberg, Executive Vice President, Client Services, Sailthru. “We often say, we grow our business by helping our customers grow theirs and so it’s a win-win to see four of our customers included.”
