HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 12/02/13 -- TechnoCycle, a Houston-based Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) and e-waste recycling company, has doubled its facility size to 60,000 square feet to keep up with the dramatic growth of the electronic recycling industry. Having been recognized by the Houston Business Journal as one of Houston's fastest growing companies from 2010 - 2013, TechnoCycle attributes its consistent growth to a strong customer focus and providing value-added services and compliance to the constantly changing e-Waste industry.
According to Mike Buckles, President of TechnoCycle, "This expansion was necessary because we had just run out of space in our current facility, which made it challenging to keep up with the demand. Doubling our facility size will provide us with much needed space and will allow us to double or triple our operations over the next few years. Not only will our customers benefit from this, but it also creates good local jobs that include health benefits. Since 2011 we have grown from 25 to 45 employees, and based on the 3.5M lbs. of e-Waste we processed in 2012 this creates about 1 new job for every 75,000 lbs. of equipment processed. We're excited to be growing with Houston and providing a valuable service to our customers and the community."
