EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 12/03/13 -- Visionstate Inc., the operating division of CSM Systems Corp. (TSX VENTURE: CKX), continues to solidify itself as the leader in delivering interactive customer service in public places. Capitalizing on the explosive growth of touchscreen devices, Visionstate has built a strong, integrated product base that the Company is now deploying at locations throughout North America.
The deployment of an integrated solution as part of a $280 million expansion at Guildford Town Center in Surrey, BC recently demonstrates the growing strength of Visionstate's product suite. Visionstate delivered interactive kiosks running the latest version of its ViCCi software, which includes the ability to utilize targeted keyword advertising and generates valuable data on directory usage, including top search terms, brands, and top destinations within the facility.
Included in the deployment was also a mobile web app, which is integrated with the ViCCi software and therefore enables facility operators the ability to manage both its directories and the mobile app through a single content management system. Another unique feature in the deployment was a static digital directory which shares the same database as the interactive ViCCi. The static digital directory enables facility operators the ability to quickly and easily change directory content while providing customers a more traditional wayfinding experience.
Over the past year Visionstate Inc. completed a strategic pilot project with an internationally recognized support services company that saw WANDA (Washroom Attendant Notification and Digital Aid) installed in hospitals in the US and Canada, including the prestigious Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City and North York General Hospital in Toronto, ON, among others. Based on the success of the pilot project, Visionstate envisions deploying additional units in both Canada and the US for the innovative WANDA product.
WANDA, which is designed to improve the cleanliness of public washrooms and the overall customer experience, continues to draw rave reviews from its user base, which has now expanded into casinos, shopping centers, hospitals and airports. The product can be implemented in any public restroom, and the Company plans to expand its usage to any area that requires facility cleaning.
Visionstate is establishing key channel partners both within Canada and the US to distribute WANDA. This strategy, Company management believes, will greatly expand the marketing reach for the product, and assist in making sales of other Visionstate products, including ViCCi and the mobile web app.
