LOS ALTOS, Calif., Dec. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Joining a celebration focused on giving during the holidays, Branders.com has launched a new program called the "Give a Way" campaign as part of #GivingTuesday (http://community.givingtuesday.org).
The "Give a Way" campaign will provide logoed merchandise to national and regional non-profit organizations over the next six months to help them brand their cause. The organizations being supported will align with Branders.com focus on meeting healthcare needs and improving K-12 education.
"It is easy to lose focus on the underlying heart of giving during the holiday season," said Joie Fuentes, Branders.com marketing lead. "We believe the idea behind #GivingTuesday is spot-on, and our new 'Give a Way' campaign is one way we can help organizations that are making a difference in their communities achieve their goals."
A new organization being supported by the campaign will be announced every two weeks via Branders.com website, blog and social media channels. The company will also feature information about these non-profit organizations and their missions in order to encourage other Branders.com customers to support them.
Fuentes added, "We want to make sure we are actively engaged with the organizations supported by the 'Give a Way' campaign and not just passively providing a donation. We hope visitors to our website learn about these organizations and how they can get involved."
The first organization to be supported by the "Give a Way" campaign will be announced on Monday, December 9, 2013.
