IFSEC India 2014 to Relocate to Pragati Maidan, New Delhi

NEW DELHI, December 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

IFSEC India, organised by UBM India, is pleased to announce that it will be returning to Pragati Maidan, New Delhi during 11th - 13th December, 2014 where it will be closer to the seat of power. Attracting both channel and end-user visitors, IFSEC India will increase the ease of access for attendees from New Delhi and the wider South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region at Pragati Maidan.

IFSEC India has experienced a successful two-year stint at the contemporary exhibition venue in Noida and the 2013 event from December 5th - 7th is poised to be another immense gathering for the industry. The advancement of security in recent years has seen the role of end users from the government and private sectors playing an increasingly important role in the purchasing process and this influence will continue to be reflected in the 2014 edition.

Mr. Joji George, Managing Director, UBM Asia, said: "We have seen this trend with other IFSEC global events where there is a demand to attract more end users. We are excited to announce that our plans for 2014 reflect this demand and build on an already successful 2013 event. This crucial decision reflects the commitment we have to our community, customers and the market and ensures we continue to offer a wealth of opportunity that IFSEC India presents to the industry. As the most established show in the region and now approaching its eighth year, we have made significant investment to ensure that IFSEC India returning to Pragati Maidan provides exhibitors with the breadth of audience they demand and deserve."

The event will again be backed by an assertive marketing campaign to reach these new influencers and ensure they join the rest of the security industry to effectively deliver that audience from India and the wider region in 2014 and beyond. Introducing interactive features on the show floor, these focal points will demonstrate that IFSEC India is at the forefront of the industry to help develop growth within the sector. Understanding the continuing development and needs of the regional market, IFSEC India is the only event to partner with international bodies that help set standards to drive the industry forward.

Provoking industry debate education theatres will act as a platform for leading security spokespeople to take to the floor and share their knowledge. In addition to end users, the traditional channel audience of distributors, integrators, consultants and specifiers will remain a core focus of the show. As IFSEC India continues to be the platform for showcasing latest products and solutions from across the globe, dedicated education theatres will continue to ensure visitors have access to the latest trends and developments in the industry.

IFSEC India will take place from 11th - 13th December 2014 at Pragiti Maidan. For more information visit: For stand enquiries contact Prashant Bahl, Senior Project Manager, [email protected].
