EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 12/04/13 -- GenerUS Marketing Solutions Inc. (GenerUS) launches Coupons4Giving (www.coupons4giving.ca), a fundraising tool that allows not-for-profits to create and manage successful fundraising campaigns in order to drive greater donor engagement. Not-for-profit organizations, including registered charities and community groups, can now bring their network of donors to Coupons4Giving to buy great deals from local or preferred merchants, or from our Global Marketplace of online retailers.
The Coupons4Giving website is currently in beta and a select group of not-for-profits and merchants have been invited to test out the service. This select group will be able to help the Coupons4Giving team trial the e-commerce platform with preliminary campaigns.

Coupons4Giving first launched in Edmonton in the summer of 2012 as GenerUS Marketing Solutions by a small team looking to solve the cumbersome efforts of fundraising for schools and sports programs. They proved their model by raising over $12,000 for 30 not-for-profits in one month with charities raising on average $800 in a 10-day campaign. Today, the newly rebranded Coupons4Giving.ca offers an improved platform with the ability for groups to run multiple campaigns at one time. The addition of a Global Marketplace of online retailers and a Social Media Toolkit to help fundraisers expand and engage their donor base are two of the new features.
The GenerUS leadership team includes seasoned tech entrepreneurs, with a successful track record in Alberta's business community, including CEO Randy Thompson and CMO Michelle Sklar, as well as software expert CTO, Jack Schaible.
