Snoopy Teams with Storypanda to Encourage Families to Spend More Time Reading Together

Digital publisher's unique "read, create, share" platform comes to life in Snoopy's You Can Be Anything

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- With young kids spending more time alone on iPads, the world famous Peanuts brand and digital book publisher Storypanda have created a book app that connects the family together.

Snoopy's You Can Be Anything is now on the iPad using Storypanda's unique read, create, share platform. This story is the first of many books from the Peanuts catalogue to be published by Storypanda.

The Storypanda team has adapted Snoopy's You Can Be Anything to include animations, interactivity, voice narration and best of all the ability to change elements to enable kids to create their own versions.

"Snoopy's You Can Be Anything is the ideal story for the Storypanda's interactive application," said James Chutter, Co-founder and Chief Creative Director of Storypanda. "The story's powerful message that kids can be whatever they want is reinforced with our unique storytelling and creating system. We all grew up on Peanuts. Snoopy and the gang are timeless and eminently relatable. What better way to spend time together as a family than creating stories with characters that both parents and kids love?"

This agreement marks a milestone for Storypanda. Past publishing partners have included Anorak, Sleeping Bear Press, Hachette and over 100 authors and illustrators. Peanuts Worldwide LLC is the largest publisher they have collaborated with thus far and sets the standard for many more partnerships to come.

To read, create and share with Snoopy, you can purchase it for $2.99 by downloading Snoopy's You Can Be Anything on the iPad.
