LSi Wins Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center IT Support Contract

Link Solutions Inc. has won a contract to perform information technology support work for a U.S. Army chemical and biological defense center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.

The company will work under an information technology infrastructure library framework to offer network operations, VTC and service desk support for the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center, LSi said Monday.

Bhupesh Wadhawan, CEO and president at LSi, said the company will leverage its experience with mission-critical work to help ECBC address cost, efficiency and other requirements.

ECBC works to support chemical and biological defense programs such as engineering design, product support, technology development, field operations, demilitarization, equipment evaluation and sustainment.

The Army awarded the competitive multi-million, multi-year contract under the Information Technology Services - Small Business vehicle.
