Intrix Technology Acquires Merchant Processing USA

Acquisition Fuels Intrix' Strategic Growth Initiatives

ROSEVILLE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 12/10/13 -- Intrix Technology, Inc. (Intrix), a technology enabled ISO and leading payment processor, today announced it has acquired Merchant Processing USA based in Southfield, Michigan. Merchant Processing USA specializes in providing credit card and check-processing services to small and mid-sized business, including retailers, business-to-business providers and e-commerce companies.

This merchant portfolio acquisition is the fifth acquisition by Intrix this year. In addition to organic growth, Intrix is focused on strategic growth through acquisitions of targeted portfolios in specific verticals. Merchant Processing USA will become a fully integrated part of Intrix.

"We look forward to welcoming these merchants to the Intrix family," said Jeffrey Connors, Chief Executive Officer of Intrix. "Merchant Processing USA has 'made commitment to exceptional service' the cornerstone of their customer satisfaction standards -- and it is one of the reasons we acquired them. Intrix' investments in technology, innovation and customer service will continue to deliver on Merchant Processing USA's tradition of service excellence for its merchant customers."

"When deciding who to partner with, I could not imagine being acquired by an entity more in line with our aspirations than Intrix Technology," said Michael Sharrak, principal of Merchant Processing USA. "Merchant Processing USA prides itself on its honesty, integrity, clarity and exceptional customer service and we are confident that our merchants will be in good hands with the Intrix team who believe highly in these core foundational principles."

Merchant Processing USA will work with Intrix during an elongated transition period to ensure there are absolutely no service disruptions. "Together, we are committed to providing a seamless transition for all of our mutual customers. In my new capacity, I will continue to serve as a referral agent so all of my clients can always reach out to me if the need arises," added Sharrak.

Merchant Processing USA's customers will benefit from Intrix' expanded merchant service offerings as well as its secure, PCI certified payments platform, which will enable them to integrate payments with their accounting systems; improve cash flow management and forecasting; and reduce both fraud exposure and costs associated with PCI compliance costs.

The Intrix payment gateway allows customers to integrate payment and billing solutions with accounting applications and enterprise level software for a more streamlined payment process. Other payment processing products from Intrix include electronic bill presentment and payment, recurring billing applications, ACH processing and full tokenization services that reduce merchants' PCI compliance costs.

In addition to serving merchants, Intrix provides agents with enhanced sales, marketing and processing functions to build their acquiring portfolio.
