This year, iTOK was officially accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and received the outstanding rating of A+. This rating refers to how well the BBB believes iTOK adheres to the BBB Code of Business Practices, which emphasizes earning and keeping customer trust, marketplace transparency, and committing to honest business practices.
The Better Business Bureau has an impressive vision for the future of business—an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other. As it relates to that mission, iTOK CEO Seth Bailey said, “It’s important for our customers to know that we take their trust very seriously. In the remote tech support industry, there are plenty of companies with less than reputable intentions, so we strive to make sure every customer is handled professionally and courteously. I think the A+ rating from the BBB underscores our commitment.”
An important part of the BBB accreditation process involves examining how companies like iTOK interface with customers and their complaints. Over the past year, iTOK has cooperated with the BBB to examine and answer individual customer complaints, resolving all issues to the satisfaction of the customer and the BBB. “Honestly, it’s just about doing good business,” Bailey said.
This is particularly important for senior citizens. “In today’s online marketplace, seniors are often the target of nefarious business practices,” said Bailey. “And since the majority of our customers are senior citizens, we feel the need to be even more watchful of our customers’ trust. The BBB helps us do exactly that.”
iTOK is proud to join the ranks of other A+, BBB accredited businesses. With as much scrutiny as online transactions get today, it’s important to work with companies that are worthy of the trust that is placed in them.
