Casa Manana Debuts Bad Boys of Broadway January 10-12, 2014, New Production Featuring Full Orchestra, Four Broadway Stars Performing Signature Songs of Villains from Celebrated Broadway Musicals

FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Casa Manana Executive Producer Wally Jones has announced an original production, Bad Boys of Broadway In Concert, to open at the Fort Worth theatre for a limited engagement January 10 through 12, 2014. The new show brings the brightest talent direct from Broadway to sing memorable, villainous songs from award-winning Broadway and West End musicals. Single tickets are on sale now through the Casa Box Office (817) 332-2272 and Ticketmaster.

Bad Boys of Broadway confirms that bad boys have all the fun, especially on stage. Backed by a 16-piece orchestra, Jason Wooten, John Cudia and Josh Tower sing dozens of selections, including highlights from The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar and more. Wooten appeared on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde, Hair, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar and Footloose and was Roger in Casa Manana's production of RENT (2012). Cudia was on Broadway in The Phantom of the Opera (Phantom and Raoul), Les Miserables and Evita. Tower was last seen as Lancelot in Casa's production of Camelot in March and has appeared on Broadway in The Lion King (Simba) and Ragtime. A fourth cast member will be announced later.

Directed by Tim Bennett, Bad Boys of Broadway performances are Friday at 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, at 2:00 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Bennett directed Casa Manana's production of Miss Saigon last August. He also directed 42nd Street (2012) and RENT (2012). Bennett was resident director of the Las Vegas production of Disney's The Lion King, has directed and choreographed concerts and productions like High School Musical, Macbeth, Urinetown, Moon Over Buffalo, and Lend Me a Tenor nationwide.
