MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - December 13, 2013) - The first interactive cooking show ever offered by the Tourism Office of Spain in Miami and Extenda, Trade Promotion Agency of Andalusia, took place at Miami's trendy Design District. The culinary event conducted by acclaimed Spaniard Chef Bruno Oteiza was part of the "Tapas: Spanish Design for Food" exhibit.
The Tourism Office of Spain in Miami and Extenda USA joined forces in this unique interactive culinary event to introduce the latest trends in flavors and Tapas from Spain to culinary experts, lifestyle and travel specialized journalists and bloggers.
Star Chef Bruno Oteiza, Host of Spain's TV Channel Antena 3 "Cocina con Bruno" conducted the interactive cooking show taking the guests to discover new flavors, new recipes and new heights. Chef Oteiza prepared both traditional and innovative Tapas recipes, with Spanish products that make the forefront of the culinary and dining experience, raising awareness of their versatility. All tapas were paired with Lustau Sherry Wines: Manzanilla dry, Palo Cortado, Oloroso and PX.
The event also featured some of the top products in Spain's cuisine and the Mediterranean Diet: A tasting of Extra Virgin Olive Oil by Acorsa, a master class of carving and tasting of a 100% Pure Iberico Ham by 5 Jotas (Osborne), and a Gazpacho presentation to discover the endless possibilities that the refreshing Drinkable salad has to offer though a practical demonstration on how to prepare a Gazpacho Bloody Mary by Gazpacho Alcaraz.
