Gordon Atlantic Identifies Morjim, Goa as Resort Site for Tower & Crown's Proposed Luxury Hotel

LONDON, Dec. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Gordon Atlantic Development Corporation with the assistance of UK based Goan Dream identifies Morjim, Goa as the resort site for Tower & Crown's new proposed luxury hotel property. The luxury hotel property will premiere as a 265-room, 15-suite facility with capacity to host up to 250 delegates on 18 acres of beachfront property on the Arabian sea in the emerging North Goa luxury market. The facility is 51 KM to the North of the Goa International Airport – Vasco da Gama (Dabolim, Goa). Gordon Atlantic expects to announce the facility as a Starwood luxury product. Gordon Atlantic has invited Hyderabad, India-based Lakhani & Jordan Engineers & Architects Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of New York City based Lakhani & Jordan Engineers, PC to join and oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) in order to reduce implementation risk within India.


Why Morjim, Goa?

According to HVS data, demand in India has only dropped once over 18 years in 2008 due to thecollapse of Lehman Brothers and terrorist attacks in Mumbai. Since then the Compound Annual Growth Rate has exceeded 17 % over the last five years. Demand has increased for almost any property in India by 17 % each year. During even fluctuant times in the Indian economy, demand grew nine per cent over the last 12 months.

Tower & Crown's proposed luxury product shares Morjim Beach, a nesting and hatching habitat with Olive Ridley sea turtles, an endangered species. Poaching eggs or in any manner disturbing the turtles or their habitat is an offence punishable under Indian law.
