OREM, UT -- (Marketwired) -- 12/17/13 -- Reflect Scientific, Inc. (OTCBB: RSCF), a provider of diverse products and services for the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and transportation industries, announced that a 1323 mile road test of the pollution free Cryometrix CB-40 transport refrigeration unit (TRU) hauling refrigerated goods has proved successful.
The Cryometrix CB-40 TRU is a pollution free refrigeration alternative to diesel-powered systems for trailers. The CB-40 uses a patented liquid nitrogen cooling system to achieve consistent temperature control with far fewer moving parts and greater reliability. Mr. Kim Boyce, CEO of Reflect Scientific, commented, "This is the first time that the CB-40 has been used to haul perishable goods in a commercial setting. We picked a challenging first test -- to maintain refrigeration in a 53-foot trailer filled with perishable goods traveling round trip from Salt Lake City, UT to Los Angeles, CA. The unit really performed beyond our expectations. The goods were delivered with no loss and no major problems with the system. I would like to thank a prominent transportation company based in Salt Lake City for all their assistance in getting this real world test accomplished."
