SMITH Releases Amtrak for Windows Phone

SMITH, a Seattle-based independent digital experience agency, announced their development of the Amtrak app for Windows Phone. In fiscal year 2013 alone, Amtrak carried a record 31.6 million passengers. SMITH designed and built the Windows Phone app and ensured seamless integration with Amtrak systems. This new experience brings new features, is optimized to capitalize on current Amtrak initiatives and lays the foundation for future innovations.

Amtrak for Windows Phone delivers features similar to those enjoyed by Amtrak customers using their iPhone and Android applications, including the ability to buy and have the e-ticket delivered directly to their phone – or to cancel or exchange that same ticket.
