Arise Virtual Solutions, the leading, global provider of virtual/work-at-home business process outsourcing (BPO) and crowdsourcing solutions, announced today that it has been shortlisted by the Professional Planning Forum for its highly respected 2014 Innovation Awards. Arise joins other leaders in customer service such as LV= and Aviva.
The winners will be announced at the prestigious Professional Planning Forum’s Customer Strategy & Planning conference in Brighton on April 29th & 30th. Arise EMEA CEO, David Cartwright, commented, “It is encouraging to see the homeshoring model accelerating and being recognised for its flexibility, cost and quality advantages. Our model is very inclusive with agents joining our network from the armed forces, silver surfers looking for a new challenge, and people with disabilities to add to our passionate network of entrepreneurial homeworkers all over the UK and Ireland. I am delighted that the efforts of the Arise EMEA team have been recognised by The Professional Planning Forum.”
“This year’s entries were of a brilliant quality, with a great breadth of topics, and especially strong in the key areas that our community is driving, such as Planning, Analytics, Quality and Customer Experience. Each finalist’s submission has something tangible that members of our community could use to make a real change in their organisation,” enthused Steve Woosey, CEO of the Planning Forum.
Twenty five judges were involved in the shortlisting and will now visit each team to conduct an in-depth evaluation. Emma Botfield, Head of Customer Services at BT who also judged last year, added, “I enjoyed the whole experience of learning from other businesses, recognising the professionalism in the industry and being able to go back and challenge my own organisation.”
The award shortlisting focuses on Arise’s integrated approach, honed over 15 years of delivering outstanding customer service at scale from home. It also includes Starmatic™, Arise’s patented IP-based workforce management solution, a recipient of the 2013 IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer Award from Customer Magazine. Starmatic™ combines IP and telephony networks with state-of-the-art mapping and scheduling software to create a one-of-a-kind tool. Starmatic™ originated from Arise's need to route calls to thousands of dispersed locations and manage resource levels in real-time to meet the fluctuating customer care needs of its clients. Since that time, it has become a best-in-class example of how to provide customers with world-class service.
Enjoying the ability to access resources that are not limited by geography, Dickon Moon, Director of Sourcing EMEA added, "This year has seen us introduce a series of innovations across the lifecycle of an agent’s partnership with Arise, to receive formal recognition of the impact of those innovations is extremely gratifying for the team.”
“As a relatively young and very agile company, to be recognised by such an insightful organisation demonstrates that our model and methodologies are leading edge. Arise offers its clients the ultimate in a flexible and reliable customer experience, in critical customer transactions with varying levels of complexity,” said Keir Greenwood, Director of Client Results, EMEA at Arise Virtual Solutions.
