ASI Entertainment, Inc. (OTCQB:ASIQ):
Aviation Today reported on Dec. 31, 2013, that ASiQ Limited, the licensee of ASI Entertainment’s intellectual property, is releasing its Grrrilla service to replace the Airfone air-to-ground communications network which was decommissioned on New Year’s Eve. About the Company
ASI Entertainment owns the intellectual property named SafeCell. The original SafeCell concept was developed to allow communications in aircraft by shutting down the primary cell phone transmitter and connecting via Bluetooth to a personal electronic device, to primarily facilitate data communications.
ASiQ was licensed by ASI Entertainment in May 2008, to commercialize the intellectual property, and from this license evolved ASiQ’s BizjetMobile system and now the Grrrilla service.
