Canopy Co. (www.canopyco.com), developer of Sensus™, the world’s first touch-sensitive, app-enhancing smartphone case, which extends touch control on the iPhone’s screen to the sides and back surface of the case, announced today that Steve Babick has joined its board.
Mr. Babick is principal of B-Con Capital Corp, which provides board and investment portfolio services for several emerging companies. Previously, he was President of Exclusive Connections, and COO and board member of iModa, a mobile encryption company. From 2007-2010, he served as President & CEO of MetroSplash Systems Group and, in 2007, as VP-Finance & Global Field Operations for i2 Technologies, where he was responsible for financial planning & analysis and customer experience metrics for a global sales, marketing, and services organization. Previously he was interim CFO for UVM, Inc./Alta Communications and C121 Mobile/Cienda. He began his career at Texas Instruments, after earning a BS at Florida State University and an MBA at Amber University.
