Prominent Information Security Executives Steve Katz and Michael Barrett Join Fortscale's Advisory Board

Fortscale, the Big Data cyber security analytics start-up, today announced that Steve Katz, former CISO at Citibank, JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch, and Michael Barrett, former CISO at PayPal and VP of Security at American Express, have joined Fortscale's Advisory Board.

Widely regarded as "the world's first CISO", Steve Katz is a prominent figure in the cyber security discipline, having served as the senior security executive for Citibank/Citigroup, JP Morgan, and most recently Merrill Lynch. Deeply respected for his expertise in both the financial services and security industries, Katz has testified to Congress on information security issues and was appointed as the Financial Services Sector Coordinator for Critical Infrastructure Protection by the Secretary of the Treasury.
